BEHIND THE LENS

I am currently studying BA Photography at the University of South Wales in the centre of Cardiff and being able to shoot in a variety of photographic styles. With a total of four years of studying behind me I realised that my main subject throughout my photography is skateboarding because I’ve always had a connection to it in one way or another.

 

I personally feel that skateboarding as a sub culture is judge way too much by society and people believe it is some kind of antisocial activity when it is actually the complete opposite. With my work I try to show all the different aspects that I see from an insiders perspective whether its documenting the social aspect, the sport itself or even making some creative images using skateboarding in anyway it can be.
